It was late afternoon as we came upon this peaceful inlet, and a bird flew into my frame. Later, we stayed for the sunset, and it was one of the most joyous moments of my life. Spying an empty (though coveted) bench in the distance, we ran in the sand towards the cliff to claim our seats—and what a spectacular show it was.

Photographed on 35mm film. I hope that as you flip through, you feel like you were there, next to me.
Also in the neighborhood: Fort Bragg, Russian Gulch, Glass Beach, and Point Cabrillo Lighthouse. We might not blab too much about the north coast, but she sure is pretty. You could easily get lost for a weekend up here.
